What I like most about being an SLP: I love being an SLP because I get to help my clients find their voices, gain independence, and be understood by others. I have the opportunity to learn what is most important to a child and their family, and provide resources and strategies for achieving their goals. We also have a lot of fun in the process!
My hobbies include: Running, Volleyball, Hiking, Reading, Painting
If I could have any super power, it would be: To understand and use every language (including animal ones) – to speak with anyone in the world!
My favorite animal is: a dog!
My favorite ice cream flavor is: Strawberry Cheesecake
Areas of training & expertise:I have been practicing as an SLP since 2016 in a variety of adult and pediatric settings including public schools, specialized schools, an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, and several outpatient clinics. I have completed additional training in: PROMPT (Introductory, Level 1 Training), Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) for both low and high-tech systems, cognitive impairments in brain injury/concussion, and Signing Exact English (SEE, Introductory Level).
