What I like most about being a PT: I love being able to work with children through a play-based approach to help them learn new skills while having fun. I also enjoy providing parents with the education and support they need to work with their children at home and in the community. Getting to “play” all day with the kids keeps me young at heart.

My hobbies include: Hiking, crochet, cross stitch, bird watching, traveling, and trying new restaurants.

Areas of training & expertise:I have worked exclusively with the pediatric population for 10 years in a variety of settings (outpatient clinics, in home, and in schools). I recently have become trained in Pediatric Pelvic Floor physical therapy, which includes issues such as day time accidents, night time accidents, and constipation. I have completed courses on Total Motion Release for Tots & Teens Levels 1-3. Other areas I have completed continuing education include: Toe-walking (Lisa Ritchie (Persaud)’s course), as well as Congenital Muscular Torticollis. I have extensive experience in working with infants, with some of my patients as young as one week old!
