
ABA Clinical Director
Sara earned her Master of Science in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from the Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She also received a dual Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and ECE Special Education at SIU-Carbondale. Sara has 8 years teaching experience, previously worked as a Developmental Therapist for Illinois Early Intervention, and has had her Board-Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA) credential since 2014. Her experience includes working with populations with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), Early Intervention (EI), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), ASD with co-morbid mental illness, severe maladaptive behaviors, and in developing comprehensive and focused programming. She has worked in a variety of settings including residential group homes, in-home programs, in school services, consultation for schools and facilities, camps for children with special needs, private clinics, centers facilitating social interactions, and social skills groups. She has experience in Verbal Behavior, ACT Therapy, and Relational Frame Theory. Sara enjoys time with her toddler son and husband, being outside, and engaging in activities low waste and simply living philosophies.
